Co-authors Stephen Perry and Andrew Currier are the founders of PCK IP, and have extensive experience in advising, representing and defending corporate and individual clients in a variety of patent matters.

The first edition of this book was cited by the Supreme Court of Canada as the basis for its decision in Teva Canada Ltd. v. Pfizer Canada Inc. ([2012] S.C.J. No. 60, 2012 SCC 60). The third edition provides important updates and new chapters which are highly relevant for patent professionals.
