PCK Intellectual Property is proud to announce Maria Vanessa Bogere as the 2026 recipient of the PCK Scholarship.

Developed in collaboration with Roots Community Services, the PCK Scholarship is part of PCK’s broader diversity initiatives aimed at supporting students from Black, African, Caribbean, and Indigenous communities pursuing studies in science and engineering. Through this annual program, PCK provides financial support to students while also helping encourage greater representation and access to opportunities within the intellectual property, legal, and innovation sectors.

This year’s scholarship process brought forward many strong applications from students across the Greater Toronto Area who demonstrated academic achievement, community involvement, and a commitment to their future goals. Maria stood out for her resilience, determination, and passion for education. As she begins her studies in Biomedical Science, her application reflected not only strong academic ambition, but also perseverance, optimism, and a genuine commitment to personal and professional growth.

At PCK, we believe that investing in students and future innovators is an important step toward building a more inclusive and equitable future. We are honoured to support Maria as she begins this exciting next chapter and look forward to seeing all that she accomplishes in the years ahead.

We would also like to thank Roots Community Services for their continued partnership and collaboration in helping advance these important initiatives and supporting youth in our communities.
