Rebecca is a Patent Agent Trainee at PCK with a background in both international patent prosecution and detailed patent analysis. Before joining PCK, she worked as a Patent Specialist supporting Japanese patent filings, where she became familiar with navigating foreign prosecution strategies. She also served as a Patent Analyst, performing in-depth research and analysis across a variety of technical fields. Her experience spans prior art investigations, landscape reviews, and patentability assessments.
Rebecca is known for her technical precision, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize complex information clearly. Her cross-functional experience makes her a valuable contributor to strategic IP decision-making for both emerging and established clients.
PRACTICE FOCUS
Rebecca’s practice focuses on responding to patent office actions issued by the Canadian and U.S. patent offices. She works closely with agents and counsel to develop tailored prosecution strategies that move applications forward efficiently. Rebecca also contributes to ongoing prosecution workflows by reviewing technical claims, identifying examiner concerns, and drafting clear, persuasive responses to support the advancement of client portfolios.
