Robert was called to the Bar in 2015 after completing his J.D. at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Robert articled at a mid-sized full service law firm in London, Ontario where he pursued his interest in intellectual property law and franchise law.
During law school, Robert was active in the Law, Technology and Entrepreneurship Clinic which supports entrepreneurship and innovation in the Windsor-Essex region through its focus on intellectual property law. Robert also volunteered with Community Legal Aid, a student clinic in Windsor, Ontario, where he facilitated access to and provided legal services to the community. In addition, his background in Industrial Engineering has afforded Robert the opportunity to work with major aerospace companies and defense contractors on process improvement initiatives in both service and manufacturing environments.
As a lawyer, Robert assists senior counsel in the areas of patent drafting and patent prosecution. Robert is also a regular contributor to the PCK Reporter blog. As a Process Engineer at PCK, Robert assists in the continued process improvement of the firm’s automated systems, and in the analysis of workflows used by the firm.
